Pricing / Designed By Dane
Most small businesses don't need a huge agency team, a complicated process, or a five-figure build. They need the right amount of website for where their business is now — built well, with room to grow later.
Start with what you need. Add more when you need it.
1–3 Pages
$499
Best suited for a focused small-business presence where the website needs to establish credibility, explain the business clearly, and generate inquiries without unnecessary complexity.
Typical examples might include: Home · Services · About / Contact
4–6 Pages
$799
For businesses that need more room to properly explain services, establish trust, answer common questions, showcase work, or target multiple important areas of the business.
Possible page types might include: Home · About · Services · individual service pages · Portfolio / Gallery · FAQ · Contact
7+ Pages
Starting at $1,200
For businesses that need a larger site architecture, multiple services, location pages, deeper content, or more advanced functionality. The starting point is $1,200 because complexity can vary significantly beyond seven pages.
The price is not simply "number of pages."
Not every business needs a full custom website project on day one. Fast Launch is a streamlined option for newer businesses and simple service companies that need the essentials done well — without the deeper strategy, custom UX, and broader scope of a full Designed By Dane build.
If you simply need a professional, straightforward presence online, Fast Launch keeps the scope intentionally lean.
Fast Launch
"I need to get online professionally and quickly."
Starting at $249 — streamlined scope.
Custom Website Build
"I want Dane to determine what this website should actually be, how it should work, and how the experience should be structured."
Fast Launch is intentionally focused.
It is generally not intended for projects that need:
Not sure which one you need? Tell me about the business. I'll tell you which option makes sense — even if it's the cheaper one.
Designed By Dane also works on existing websites. Send me the URL and tell me what's bothering you. I'll take a look at what you already have before assuming you need a complete rebuild.

Pricing for these projects is quoted based on scope.
Page count is a starting point, but scope can change based on the specifics of the project.
If something materially changes the scope, I'll tell you before we move forward. The point is to know what you're paying for — not discover it halfway through the project.
Once the project is complete, you can manage the site yourself. If you'd rather have me continue handling changes, maintenance, updates, or improvements, ongoing support is available.
Manage It Yourself
Your website remains yours. You are not required to keep paying Designed By Dane just to keep the site.
Keep Me Involved
Optional Website Management is available if you'd rather have someone continue handling updates and improvements.
Website Management is an optional continuation after the project. Depending on the plan, it can cover text and content updates, image changes, page adjustments, minor design improvements, general website upkeep, and ongoing improvements to existing content.
Starter
$75/month
Best for businesses that need occasional updates and basic website care — small text updates, image swaps, basic page edits, button or link updates, contact form checks, and a monthly website check-in.
Plus
$150/month
Best for businesses that want their website actively improved and kept current — everything in Starter, plus more involved content updates, new section additions, testimonial or review updates, basic SEO title and description updates, CTA improvements, and monthly recommendations.
Growth
$250/month
Best for businesses that want ongoing website improvements, trust-building updates, and visibility support — everything in Management Plus, plus one new content improvement per month, Google review or testimonial placement, basic Search Console review, local visibility suggestions, and monthly growth-focused reviews.
Your Google Business Profile is often one of the first things a local customer sees. It shouldn't look neglected. This optional service helps keep your profile accurate, current, and working for you.
$75/month
A leaner level of support for keeping the essentials accurate and current.
$125/month
A mid-level option with more active, ongoing profile attention.
$250/month
The most involved level of ongoing support for businesses that want their profile managed more comprehensively.
What this can include
Designed By Dane is an independent practice. You work directly with the person building your website — not through a chain of account managers, project managers, and designers.
That lower overhead is what keeps the pricing accessible to actual small businesses. It doesn't mean a lower standard of work — it just means the cost reflects the work itself.
Lower overhead ≠ lower standard.
No. Ongoing Website Management is optional. There will still be normal third-party costs such as your website platform, domain, or other services you personally use, but Designed By Dane does not require an ongoing management subscription simply because I built the site.
The finished website is intended to remain yours, and it is not permanently dependent on Designed By Dane. Account ownership and platform access should remain with the client whenever possible.
Designed By Dane works across several platforms including Squarespace, Wix, GoDaddy, and Hostinger. The platform should be selected based on the business and project rather than forcing every client into one system.
Yes. You can start with the website you need now and expand it later as the business grows.
Existing sites can often be improved, expanded, or rebuilt rather than automatically starting from zero. Send me the URL and tell me what's bothering you.
Every build should have a sensible foundational search structure, but advanced or ongoing SEO work is a separate scope when appropriate. A build does not guarantee rankings.
Page count creates a starting point, while functionality and project complexity determine the actual scope. If something materially changes the scope, I'll tell you before we move forward.
Yes. This is an optional separate service for businesses that want ongoing help maintaining and improving their Google Business Profile.
You don't need to choose the perfect package before reaching out. Tell me about the business, what you already have, and what you're trying to accomplish. I'll help determine the right scope.
